NEW DIRECTOR OF LENDING APPOINTED FOR SKIPTON GUERNSEY LIMITED

Skipton Guernsey Limited (SGL) has just appointed Nigel Pascoe as Director of Lending. He moves from his role as Lending Manager to this newly created position at a time when Skipton Guernsey lending business is going from strength to strength. Nigel has been with Skipton Guernsey since October 2002, when the company bought Standard Chartered Grindlay's Guernsey mortgage interests.

Coinciding with this appointment, Jo Walker has been promoted to Lending Manager and will be working closely with Nigel to continue to build the business. Jo has been with the company since February 2003.

Commenting on the appointments, Alan Bougourd, Managing Director, SGL said, “Skipton Guernsey has had an excellent year on the Island , with new lending business beating all our expectations. I know that both Nigel and Jo will be looking ahead to 2005 and business prospects. On the savings side, we have noticed a strong renewal in interest both from clients locally on the Island and also from expatriates worldwide, as savings rates have risen. With accounts available to Island residents with just £1000, Skipton Guernsey is committed to serving both the house purchase and savings needs of the local community.”
